Variety of Things

I have been going out with Nick for one month now as of last Wednesday. Last week we went to Elizabeth Town to go see Christmas in the park, and to go look at Christmas lights. It was also the night of the Christmas Party at school. The turn out didn't go so badly. People made ornaments, candy cane reindeer, decorate cookies, and made Santa clause out of fishing bobbers. This semester is coming to a closing, and I just got done taking my last final for the semester. These last few months have really flown by.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to everyone!

Nick and I

Nick and I are back together, and have been going out for about 3 weeks now. He is a red neck and country guy. He is slowly changing me into country, but I'm still going to be a city girl at heart who loves to do country stuff. For example; I like to go mudding, and off roading, and driving or riding through the creeks. It is amazing, and I am starting to love camouflage. The only thing that I can't stand but I am tolerating is dipping, or chewing. I met his family yesterday on his mom's side. I also met 2 of his uncles, and one of his aunt, and grandma on his dad's side. His cousin just got engage, and his cousin Cheslea is getting marry on Derby Day next year.

Rushing Into Things

I meant this really sweet country guy. I like him but I think I rush into things. I just got out of a 3 year relationship, a week goes by and I'm already in a new one. I told him we should take a step back and just be friends. I still like him, but it seem like us going out just happen. He knew more things about me then I thought he did, but I verly know anything about him. I know personal stuff and why he does the things that he does. I know that he deserves the best. I know that he country, and half irish, which is probably why I am attracted to him. Like the song saids "Girls Love Country Boys." He is really sweet and know how to treat a lady. Hopefully some day we will get another chance.

Losing a Shoe

One night I was in the Student Center watching 300, and then we watch the elections. I took my flip-flops off like I always do. I put my shoes by the couch, at least I thought I did. As I get up to leave, I can't find my left shoe. "You got to be kidding me." I search and search for it. I even look in the piano. I even asked my friends to give my shoe back, apparently they didn't take it. I guess maybe I should leave a pair of my shoes in my friends room. Last night I took my shoes off during the coffeehouse; the comedian show. I made sure my shoes were in front of me the whole time. I still haven't find my flip flop.

when will they learn?

When will men learn to listen to ladies and learn that we are right most of the time? A group of my friends and I went to the pet store to go see some puppies and other animals. On the way back I mention that I like Ski (a soft drink), so we stop at a gas station so I can get a Ski. We are on US 150 when the car said low fuel and the gas tank said empty. I noticed it and tried telling him that he needed gas, and (he) the driver said it was find. Like I said, he needed gas. We had to pull over to the side of the road and wait for somebody to bring us gas. Next time, he will listen, hopefully.

Pain

I wear shades to hide the pain that he cause me. I say nothing is wrong when people ask me, but in reality I'm depress. Every love and break up song on the radio reminds me of him. I thought he was stronger than this. How can you still have feelings for someone but at the same time can't be with them? We were supposed to celebrate our 3 years anniversity next month. Our 3 years was 10-22-08. Almost every picture that I have is of him. I guess an hour away from each other is a long distance relationship. Bright side, at least we are still best friends.

Goofing Off

Have you ever fallen, but you didn't know what just happen? You ask yourself so many question. When you do fall, you feel no pain; even when you look at your hand or your leg and see a scrape or a cut. So yesterday, I was hanging out with some of my friends. Then all of a sudden, my friend wanted my phone; I didn't want to give it to him. I took off running; he was chasing me. He didn't catch up with me until I slid on the sidewalk. One moment I'm running; the next moment I'm laying down on the sidewalk on my side. I am thinking to myself, "what just happen?"My friend walk over and ask if I was okay. They saw my hand, and one of my friend had a first aid kit. Thank goodness. They help me put medicine, and a band-age on my hand. It isn't a scrape, at least I don't think it is. I mean a little bit of my skin came off. One of my friend look up and saw my eye; I was like "what?" Now my right eye has a scrape underneath of it. I am still trying to figure out how I got two really small scrape on my left hand. I can understand my right hand, and I guess my right eye, because I did slid on my right side.

Stressing Out

Well, recently I have gotten a letter saying I owed so much money for school. They only gave my a week notices. Then they trying saying that they sent home other payments, and I'm not doing anything about it. I have gotten two payment from finicial aid, and the first one they told me not to worry about it. No offense to all you athletes, but I just don't understand how somebody who can play a sport like basketball, football, soccer, etc can get a full-time scholarships. If they don't get a full-time scholarships; it's close to it even when they don't care about school at all. Then there are those people out there who try and want to achieve in school, and get zippola amount of money. The people who achieve in class, and do their work on time, and study get maybe a few grants and loans. People wonder why more and more students are dropping out of school, because they can't afford it. Everyone isn't an athlete. I don't think a person should get a full-time scholarship just because he/she plays a sport.

Random Thoughts

Wow. I'm behind on my blogs. My life has been, well boring these last few days. On Thursday, I spent all night making signs for David Sparrow. He is running for 54th State Representative. On Friday night , I went out for pizza in Danville with some friends then we went to the park. I'm stressing out about all the papers I have due. I have a 5 page paper due this Thursday, and I only have a page, but I have all the information. Honestly, there is only so much information about the cello. Let me tell you something, the cello sound excellent, but it is the most boring instrument to research. Except I need two books. I have two research paper, both 7 pages long due at the end of the semester. I probably should start on those.

Drama in a small town

High school drama in college. I mean honestly, are we in high school or are we adult in college? We are old enough to live on our own; however, we still have drama. I thought when I graduated from high school, I left the drama, rumors, and gossip all behind. I honestly can't stand drama, but I always find myself getting into it. I just wish people would mind their own business, but I guess this is the down side of living in a small town. Everybody knows every body's business; even if it's just rumors. People spread rumors, and gossip about different people just because; even if they don't even know the person.

FEARS

Many people have a fear that they can not explain. For some unexplained reason I have always been terrified of haunted places; fake or real. I refused to go in a grave yard at night time. I love watching scary movies even though I know I'm going to scream my head off. Last year at Six flags during the October Fest I paid to go through a haunted house. Why? I have no idea. There was the actual exit at the end, and there were emergency exits through out. I made it to the second emergency exit. In Louisville, I live about 10 minutes away from Waverly Hills, yet I never been there, and don't plan on it. I never even been to the gate or outside of it. I only saw it while riding down Dixie Hwy. I don't see the point of me paying at least $50 for me to get scare out of my skin; while I can do that for free. In addition, I also can't stand walking in the woods at night.

Me and Nathan

Three years ago, was my first time in marching band. During band camp I met an amazing guy with a mohawk and I didn't know his name. I didn't even talk to him. As the season went on we started talking more; everybody could tell that he liked me, but the only problem was that he had a girlfriend. He broke up with her, and my boyfriend at the time broke up with me. It was championships, and the whole band had to go to WKU even though we didn't make finals. On the way there we sat together and everybody kept asking if we went out. As we walked down the sidewalk to the stadium, he asked me out with some help from this other guy in the band. We started dating on Oct. 22, 2005 and are still going strong to this day. He is a year younger than me so he is a senior at Butler Trad. High School. Some people think he is older than me. One time we went to go see a PG13 movie, and they asked him how old I was even though I'm older. He doesn't have his mohawk any more, thank goodness. He does have really cruly hair until he shaves his head. He plays saxphone, but now he is the drum major and I used to be in the Color Guard section.

Blogs

Blogs. What is a blog? Well a blog is an online journal, but the fact that we have to write one twice a week; that a different story. Honestly there is just sometime my life is boring, and I can't think of anything to write about. Sometimes I forget about the blogs and finds myself writing two blogs in one day. I written special events down in a journal but not everyday. Half the time I have no idea what I want to write about. I wrote about music because I was listening to it at that time. I wrote about Big Brother because the season finale was coming up.

Sansbury Care Center

I, along with a few other people go visit a resident at Sansbury. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I go visit Mrs. M. We usually just talk about her life, school, and Louisville. I only visit her twice so far, and each time I say hello to the other resident walking around. I usually stay for about and hour sometime a little longer. I usually leave when she look tired and is about to take a nap.

BLACKOUT

Last Sunday, the whole city of Louisville lost their electricity and power. Some people went a few days without any electricity; while others went a whole week. Schools were cancelled because 100s of school didn't have any electricity. Phone lines were down, traffic lights were out. Can you imagine going down the highway without any lights and having a 5 way stop? Driving down the road with tree limbs falling and trees blocking off the road. The Mayor was more concern about the Ryders Cups then the citizens of Louisville.

Facebook

First I get addicted to youtube. Now I am addicted to Facebook. All through high school I didn't have a Facebook or a MySpace and now I have a Facebook. My boyfriend wants me to get a MySpace because he doesn't get on Facebook that much. He's lucky that I got a Facebook. It only took me a few years but I got one.

Music

Does the music that people listen to affect their personality? Can a quiet person listen to rock or can an outgoing person listen to easy listening ? Can listening to music actually help us remember things? In my opinion people should have a wide range and a variety of different genre of music. They shouldn't just limit themselves to one genre of music. My Music Appreciation professor told us the first day of class is that most people automatically don't like something because it is new and different. For example, most people don't like classical music because it's different, and they are unfamiliar with it. Does a person mood determine what type of music they listen to at that specific time?

Big Brother

I have nothing to talk about. what should I blog about. For all of you Big Brother fans, Keesha was voted out. I didn't see that one coming but in a way I guess I did. Expect the unexpected on Big Brother. The final 3 contestant are Jerry, Dan, and Memphis. The plan is for Dan or Memphis to win the final HOH. What if Jerry wins, who will he take to the final 2. The biggest question, who will win $500,000. Eventually every one will see how Dan and Memphis play everybody in the house.

Forgetting my keys

Friday night I decided I wanted something sweet, so I went down to the vending machine to get some candy. Well I decided since I wasn't going to be gone that long that I would leave my keys in my room and just leave my room unlock, that was a bad idea. In Bertrand, the doors to the girl's hallways are locked. Luckily I saw a sister outside and she called security to unlock the door for me. There is one lesson to learn from here always have your keys and ID with you.

community project

We finished painting the steps and the side of the porch green and the porch gray for a family who adopted eight disability kids. The young ladies and gentlemen all had amazing voices, and would a lot of help. The family had a cook out for all of us.
